Boss Mark Yates admits he can understand the frustration of supporters after Crawley Town slipped to a fourth consecutive defeat against Accrington Stanley.
Reds conceded twice in the space of three minutes just before half-time following the dismissal of Luke Rooney.
Sean McConville added a third in the 89th minute with the final whistle greeted by a chorus of boos at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.
Yates said: "I can understand their frustration of course I can. We are all frustrated at the moment.
"I felt we were doing okay for 40 minutes but then we conceded and had a man sent off and within a couple of minutes another goes in and my half-time talk is completely different.
"How can I say anything positive when we have been beaten at home again. I was relatively pleased for 40 minutes but we need to do more.
"We are low on confidence at the moment and it shows but all we can do is work harder to turn things around."
