Gwion Edwards scored twice in the space of six first half minutes as Crawley Town won 3-0 at Newport County.
Edwards marked his return from a three-match ban by lashing home a 25-yard shot in the 36th minute and adding a second just before half-time.
The Reds winger completed a fine display by crossing for Matt Harrold to head home the third in the second half.
Victory ended a run of four consecutive defeats for Mark Yates' men and lifted them out of the League Two relegation zone.
Defender Josh Yerworth made his debut after signing on a month's loan from Ipswich Town in the morning.
