Crawley have filled their left-back void by signing Barnsley youngster George Smith on loan.
The 19-year-old has come south for 28 days and goes into the squad to face Cambridge United today.
He potentially fills the gap left by the return of Mitch Hancox to Birmingham this week.
Smith's arrival means Mark Yates' exhaustive search for new blood has at least born some fruit.
The Reds boss said: "It has been a busy few days trying to add to the squad and we are delighted to have got George."
Smith came through the ranks at Oakwell and has played 42 first team games, including 19 this season.
