Bobson Bawling makes a rare start as Crawley Town bid to return to winning ways at home to Mansfield today.

Bawling is one of three changes to the side which slumped to a 2-1 defeat at struggling Yeovil Town last weekend.

The former Watford utility player has made only two substitute appearances since his last start in the 4-1 defeat at Notts County in September.

Ross Jenkins and Lee Barnard also return to the starting line-up with boss Mark Yates reverting to a 4-4-2 formation having experimented with three at the back at Huish Park.

Barnard gets the nod ahead of Roarie Deacon having opened his account for Crawley in the closing stages against Yeovil.

Jenkins comes back in for on-loan Crewe midfielder Chris Atkinson alongside Simon Walton in the middle of the park.

There is also a place on the bench for 41-year-old goalkeeper Andy Little who last made an appearance for Crawley in 2005.

Mansfield make on change to the team which won 2-1 at Morecambe on Tuesday with Malvind Benning coming into defence in place of Nicky Hunt who has been left out as he is the subject of a transfer bid.

Crawley (4-4-2): Preston; Young, Yorwerth, Bradley, G Smith; Bawling, Walton, Jenkins, Edwards; Barnard, Harrold. Subs: Little, Ashton, Atkinson, Rooney, Fenelon, Deacon, Tomlin.
