Crawley Town chief executive Michael Dunford has revealed the club takeover is expected to be completed on February 12.

Dunford says he expects contracts to be exchanged on that date with a Turkish consortium for the League Two club.

A statement on the club website says the buyers have filed an application to the Football League with regard to the Owners and Directors test but no money has changed hands so far.

Changes at Board level are also expected once the takeover is completed.

The Reds have also revealed there is a British consortium waiting in the wings should the deal fall through.

Crawley travel to Stevenage tomorrow.
