Crawley hope to appoint a new manager this week.
The League Two outfit say they have been very impressed with the quality of candidates looking to replace Dermot Drummy.
They have released a statement telling fans they will not rush a decision.
The statement reads: “Our search for a new first-team manager is ongoing and we still hope to make an appointment this week.
“We have been extremely impressed with the quality of the candidates who have expressed an interest in the position, all of whom have presented a strong vision on how they would take the club forward as we prepare for our seventh season in the Football League.
“This is an extremely important appointment and while we realise that supporters are anxious that we fill the vacancy soon the club’s owner, Mr. Ziya Eren, and the board of directors will take as much time as is needed to ensure that the next manager of Crawley Town can help the club grow and be successful.”
