Sussex captain and England women's wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor is to take a break from cricket, and may miss this summer's series at home to Pakistan.
Taylor's decision, confirmed only days after England's long-serving captain Charlotte Edwards announced her international retirement, means England will perhaps have to face a transitional phase under new coach Mark Robinson without two of their most experienced and successful players.
An England and Wales Cricket Board spokesperson confirmed 26-year-old Taylor is ''taking a break from cricket at the moment having decided to take some personal time away from the game.''
