THE Adams family medal collection could have a new addition this weekend.

I'll be heading off to Chelmsford on Sunday to watch my daughter Georgia play for Southern Vipers in the final of the inaugural Kia Super League.

It's going to be an amazing occasion and should cap what has been a terrific tournament. From speaking to Georgia I know how much the players have enjoyed being part of a high-quality and well promoted Twenty20 competition.

I can honestly say I have noticed Georgia develop and grow with each game she has played. That goes for all the players who have taken part and I am certain the professional way the Super League has been run will have a knock-on effect to the England team's fortunes in the future.

I know Georgia has ambitions to play for England one day and a good performance on Sunday will certainly help her cause. She is no stranger to success with Sussex but this is a different level altogether and I can't wait to see how she gets on.
