Sussex have released all-rounder Fynn Hudson-Prentice.

The 20-year-old struggled to make any impact in four Championship appearances last season - top scoring with 20 in six innings - but did make 48 in his solitary Royal London One-Day Cup appearance against Kent at Hove.

The former Warden Park pupil had first broken into the Sussex team in a one-day match against Glamorgan in 2014 and went on to make his first class debut the following summer against Hampshire at Hove.

Coach Mark Davis said: “I hope Fynn has enjoyed his time at Sussex and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Sussex have also confirmed that all-rounder Delray Rawlins has signed a one-year professional contract, as revealed in The Argus last week. Rawlins is currently playing for Bermuda in the World Cricket League in Los Angeles.

Davis said: “Delray is a very exciting prospect. I am thrilled he has signed a senior contract.”
