Sussex Sharks are hitting the right notes off the field – and having some fun in aid of a great cause.
Sharks have released their charity single, The Bowler, timed to accompany the start of the NatWest T20 Blast campaign.
Supporters were given a first listen when Sharks hosted Hampshire at Hove on Wednesday.
The single is designed to raise funds for the Sussex Cricket Foundation, whose various activities are aimed at creating better futures for all by increasing participation, inspiring education and improving health.
The Bowler is a cover of a Don Shlitz song, a well-known version having been performed by Kenny Rogers.
Lyrics have been revised by Sussex’s very own Colin Bowley and will be available to download from iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Google Play & Amazon Music from Tuesday.
