JASON GILLESPIE reckons Ishant Sharma is getting better all the time – as he prepares to charge in at Hove.
The Indian international fast bowler makes his home debut today when Sussex take on Gloucestershire in the Specsavers County Championship.
The short-term signing will only play two four-dayers at the 1st Central County Ground but has already made a big impression in two away draws.
Sussex coach Gillespie said: “He is getting better with every outing. He is working out the line and length to bowl and he is a very good team member.
“He is a fantastic character and he has fitted in the dressing room.
“It’s a big deal for him to be here playing county cricket.
“He loves the game, he’s a real student of the game and he is learning as much as he can.”
