Sussex lost by six wickets in a tense game against Glamorgan today to almost certainly end their Royal London One-Day Cup hopes.
Colin Ingram led the way as Glamorgan chased down a target of 278 to break their duck in the competition.
Michael Burgess (58) and David Wiese (67) put on 120 for Sussex's sixth wicket as they reached 277-8 despite Timm van der Gugten's 3-58.
The game was in the balance with Glamorgan 183-4 in the 39th over - but captain Ingram (95 not out) and Kiran Carlson, with 59 not out from 40 balls, saw them home.
Sussex welcomed back Jofra Archer and Chris Jordan for their first games of the season but they could not prevent a defeat that leaves Sharks seventh in the table with one match remaining and the top three progressing to the knockout stages.
