Sussex pair Monty Panesar and Murray Goodwin will not be playing in this year's Indian Premier League.
Neither attracted any bids at today's auction in Mumbai when 66 overseas players were chasing 13 places among the nine franchises for this year's event which starts on March 12.
The only English player to pick up one of the lucrative year-long contracts was Middlesex batsman Eoin Morgan, who joined Bangalore Royal Challengers for 220,000 dollars.
