Player-manager Sean Ray had to pinch himself as Hastings United beat Harrogate 5-4 on penalties after a remarkable FA Cup second round tie at a rocking Pilot Field.
Substitute Dee Okojie scored the crucial penalty to send the crowd wild but it was a true team effort as they booked a trip to Championship Middlesbrough.
Lee Carey fired Hastings ahead on 47 minutes from the penalty spot after Zac Attwood's run into the box was ended by Matthew Bloomer.
But it looked as if the dream was slipping away when Tom Platt volleyed an 88th minute leveller to send the match into extra time.
Hastings, though, pushed for the win in extra time before it went to the spot-kicks.
Adam Bolder missed the first for Harrogate but Danny Ellis fired over when he had a chance to be the hero for Hastings.
It didn't matter as Lee Elam skied the fifth for Harrogate and Okojie placed home the crucial kick before racing to the crowd on a never to be forgotten night at the old ground.
Ray said: "It does not seem real. It doesn't feel right. Us, Hastings United away at Middlesbrough.
"But we can't say we don't deserve it."
