Eastbourne Borough are relishing a role reversal as they aim for an FA Cup shock.

Borough were favourites when they were knocked out by Dover Athletic a year ago.

Now the sides meet again – with the Kent club flying high in National League premier and expected to go through.

Borough boss Tommy Widdrington said: “When we met before the onus was on to us get the win. This time there is no pressure.

“Both teams have changed personnel since last time. Both play exciting football, both have a real goal threat.

“They have done ever so well since going up. They have strengthened and are now a force in the division above us.

“Now it’s up to them to come here and beat us because we are definitely the underdog.”

Gavin Watts is still out with a hamstring problem but Widdrington could be poised to add to his squad in the near future.

He said: “I’ve had a chat with a couple of people about coming in and we have a trialist coming for us to have a look at.”
