Whitehawk have snapped up a man who once silenced Anfield in the FA Cup - as one of three new signings.
Brian Howard, whose goal in front of the Kop gave Barnsley a famous win over Liverpool in 2008, is on board at the Enclosed Ground.
The midfielder also shone for Swindon, Sheffield United and Reading among others and was most recently with Romsey.
He is joined by vastly-experienced former Charlton, Ipswich and Leyton Orient striker Kevin Lisbie.
Hawks have also made the timely signing of 20-year-old former Whyteleafe and Harrogate goalkeeper Tom Stewart, who will cover for the absences of injured Ross Flitney and suspended Lucas Covolan.
The triple swoop rewards a week of hard work by joint boss Paul Reid ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Chelmsford City.
