Dan Harding says he hasn’t had time to think about applying to be Whitehawk’s next manager.

But the caretaker boss would love to see his temporary charges repeat the form they showed in his first game in charge.

Hawks look to build on their come-from-behind 2-2 draw at home to Poole on Saturday by beating Dartford at East Brighton Park tonight (7.45pm).

Harding, who stepped in when Jimmy Dack stood down, said: “I was really pleased with how the lads played from 2-0 down.

“Even if we had lost 2-1, I’d have been pleased with the performance. In the end we could have won the game. But it felt like a win anyway.

“It was an important point and the performance was massive.

“That’s the bar they have set themselves. They can’t drop below that now.”

Harding said he is unaware even of how the new boss will be appointed.

He said: “I have been so busy with the team I haven’t given anything else a second thought.”

Romone Rose is available tonight after serving a three-match ban.
