Sam Rents made a welcome return from injury for Crawley's home test against Conference leaders Oxford United at the Broadfield tonight.
The former Albion leftback returned after six games out with an ankle injury as boss Steve Evans made two changes to the side beaten 2-1 at Gateshead on Saturday.
Adam Quinn returned to central defence after serving a one-match ban with Eddie Hutchinson dropping to the bench against his old club alongside Peggy Lokande.
Ex-Reds Dannie Bulman and Jamie Cook both faced their former club in strong Oxford side with Cook lining up in a three-man attack alongside Jack Midson and on-loan Franny Green but top scorer James Constable was on the bench because of concern over a persistent back injury.
