Goals from Charlie Ademeno and Glenn Wilson have put Crawley Town in charge of the Sussex derby at Priory Lane.

Ademeno gave Crawley the lead after just three minutes when he followed up after Michael Malcolm's shot had been saved.

Wilson doubled the advantage in the 31st minute when he met a Malcolm corner from the right and sidefooted home at the second attempt.

The goals were no more than the visitors deserved and with better finishing they could already have had the points in the bag.

Ademeno chose to pass instead of shoot when through on goal and the chance was wasted while Ben Smith fired over from the edge of the area when well placed.

Wilson also shot at Knowles from ten yards and Barry Cogan fired wide after being set up by Malcolm.

Borough have been completely off the pace and the closest they have come was when Jamie Taylor flicked a volley from Matt Crabb's cross straight at Simon Rayner.

Otherwise they have been restricted to long range shots with Crabb firing wide from 25 yards and also stinging the palms of Rayner.
