Adam Hinshelwood is hungry to bring the good times back to Worthing.
The former Albion defender took charge for the first time away to Burgess Hill on Boxing Day after his appointment as the Rebels’ new manager was formally announced on Christmas Day.
He said: “It is a great club. I spoke to Morty Hollis (president) and he sold the club to me, although he didn’t need to. It is a big club with big ambition. People say it is a sleeping giant with the fan base and I can see that.
“I am keen to come in with a positive approach and I want players on the same wavelength.
“It is a great challenge and a great honour to be manager of Worthing Football Club. I will do everything I can to get things moving in the right direction.”
