Whitehawk have snapped up midfielder David Ijaha ahead of today’s FA Cup tie at home to Merstham.
The combative midfielder will go straight into the squad for the second qualifying round tie at the Enclosed Ground after signing from Hayes and Yeading.
Ijaha began his career at Wolves and has also played for Staines, Harrow Borough, St Albans and Tonbridge Angels.
Manager Steven King said: “He is physically strong and we needed someone like that in our midfield. I tried to sign him in the summer but location wise it was quite difficult.
“I have watched him play recently and also had him watched and the report was decent so I followed it up with a seven-day approach. He will give us the physical strength I’ve been looking for.”
