Carey secured a point for his side with a 70th-minute penalty save.

Freddie Barker (two), Layton Schaaf and Sam Schaaf got the goals as East Grinstead twice came from behind to beat Three Bridges 4-2. Allan Tait and Abu Touray netted for Bridges.

County League division two side AFC Uckfield Town caused an upset in the Sussex Senior Cup when they beat first division leaders Littlehampton 3-2 with goals from Joe Miller (two) and Elliott Wood.
