Lewes have snapped up former Albion midfielder Tommy Fraser.

The Rooks swooped for the 27-year-old following his release on Thursday by Peacehaven.

Fraser will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s Ryman premier trip to Billericay.

He played 102 games in all competitions for Albion after making his debut in September 2006.

Following his release by the Seagulls Fraser played for Port Vale and Barnet.

More recently, he spent two years at Whitehawk, had a spell playing in Australia for Melbourne Knights and began this season at Ebbsfleet before joining Peacehaven at the start of October.

Rooks assistant boss Danny Bloor said: “Tommy is a quality player and when he became available we would have been foolish not to have taken the opportunity to sign him.

“He will bring a lot of experience. He will help us continue this good run we are on and take us further forward.”
