Former Crystal Palace forward Bayan Fenwick has been backed to help solve Peacehaven’s problems in front of goal.

The 21-year-old will make his Magpies debut at home to former club Lewes today.

Fenwick began his career with the Rooks before being snapped up to Palace where he played for their under-21s side.

After a short stint at Eastbourne Borough, Fenwick played briefly for Cardiff City’s under-21s and was recently with Bishop’s Stortford.

Peacehaven boss Tony Coade said: “Bayan trained with us this week and will be in the squad on Saturday. He has good qualities.

“It is an area where we are short. Against Harrow last week we were fantastic going from A to B but we couldn't score. Hopefully Bayan can help us.”

Skipper Ash Jones hopes to return from illness.
