Worthing may be forced to throw in a teenage goalkeeper for his debut away to Guernsey.
Under-18s stopper Rui Buckland may make his first appearance in the Rebels’ final game of the season.
Regular keeper Jack Fagan is still sidelined by a whiplash injury suffered recently in a car crash while Chris Cook, who replaced him against Whyteleafe last Saturday, has a groin injury.
Ten-goal striker Ben Pope is manager Adam Hinshelwood’s only other concern as he continues to be troubled by an ankle injury.
This will be Worthing’s first return to Guernsey since “drunken mid-air antics” and a “fracas” on a return flight from the Channel Island last season.
The club were subsequently hit with a range of punishments including a £10,000 fine, half of which was suspended for two years, a threat of expulsion from the league, two directors being charged with bringing Worthing into disrepute and an order to seek alternative travel arrangements to Guernsey in the future.
The club has moved on significantly since then, including Hinshelwood taking over as manager from Lee Brace and a new financial saviour in George Dowell.
Worthing go into the game unbeaten in seven matches and on the back of four straight wins.
Hinshelwood said: “We are on a good run. We want to finish off with spirits high within the squad so we can take that into next season.”
Meanwhile, work began this week towards installing a 3G pitch at Woodside Road in time for the new season.
The diggers were at the ground removing the current surface and preparing the ground work.
