Nathan Crabb is back at Lewes – two days after it was announced two of his brothers have left.

Fans’ favourite Crabb has returned to the club from Three Bridges in the same week that brother Matt announced he was retiring while another sibling Sam has decided to move on.

Nathan was top scorer in 2012-13, second top scorer the following campaign before leaving mid-season in 2014-15 to join Bridges.

He said: “It was definitely right for me to move at the time as I wasn’t playing much and I needed to get minutes under my belt.

“I never really wanted to leave the Dripping Pan, though, and I can’t wait to be back playing in front of the Lewes crowd. They’re brilliant fans and hopefully I can reward them.”

The Rooks’ friendly with Whitehawk has been brought forward to Friday July 24 (7.45pm).
