Lewes sign midfielder

Lewes have made the experienced Matt Somner their ninth summer signing.

The holding midfielder has joined the Rooks from Blue Square Bet premier side Mansfield Town, having finished last season on loan at Forest Green.

A former Wales under-21 international, the 28-year-old played more than 150 league games for the likes of Brentford, Cambridge United and Notts County.

Give it time Rooky.

Pre-season training only started last night and our first league game isn't for another 6 weeks. The likelihood is that Cadey will play wide but I can see us getting hold of an out and out winger to compliment him.
