Steven King has been suspended by Lewes Football Club.

The Rooks boss has been told to stay away from the club pending an internal investigation.

Lewes will not reveal the substance of the investigation.

Simon Wormull will take charge of the first team for Saturday's home game with Hornchurch, assisted by striker Paul Booth. Justin Skinner will remain as assistant manager.

More in The Argus tomorrow.
