Lewes sign two new strikers

Lewes boss Steven King has added to his attacking options by signing two new strikers.

Former Crawley forward Michael Malcolm and ex-Bromley man Warren McBean last night joined King’s revolution at the Dripping Pan.

Both are known goalscorers and will join attacking options which also include fellow summer signings Paul Booth and Ian Draycott.

King said: “With Boothy and Draycott we have a formidable front four.

“All four of them have goals in them and we will be a very attack minded side this year.”

Wow, he's delivering the goods on paper. Soon it will be time to see how good they are on the pitch. More proper strikers in the team now than for the past 3 seasons.

Four very good strikers no doubt on very good wages, bit of a luxury for a club said to be hours from extinction due to unpaid bills not so long ago?

How the hell are Warren McBean and Matt Somner coming to Lewes and playing for peanuts after them both being on good wages at Mansfield and Bromley with Lewes on a shoestring budget ?.
The bar takings must be good
