Sussex eventer Tina Cook is thrilled with a silver medal for Britain's eventing team.
The Findon rider jumped clear on Miners Frolic in the showjumping to clinch second place behind Germany.
Cook told The Argus: "It's brilliant. We are really excited to have got it. The scores were so tight. We had a possibility of getting gold.
"Of course, you have gold in your head but it was so close that if I had made a mistake it could have been nothing.
"Silver is brilliant. I am excited to get that but obviously you all dream about getting gold."
Cook picked up a costly time fault, which has left her fourth rather than third behind fellow GB rider Mary King going into this afternoon's individual showjumping round at Greenwich Park.
Cook said: "I was really annoyed because it has just dropped me out of the individual medals at the moment. Mary is ahead of me but she got a time fault in the cross-country, so we have swapped around.
"It's very close again. I am going to go for it and we'll see what happens."
