Eastbourne Eagles expect to find out today whether they have secured Polish GP racer Grzegorz Walasek for the rest of the season.

Eagles promoter Bob Dugard said: “He hasn’t been home for five days so he hasn’t had a chance to check which of our meetings he can do. People are asking me why I’m bothering to sign a rider at this stage but we can’t give up on the season.”
