Eagles grab full points

Eastbourne made it two home wins from two tonight as they saw off King’s Lynn Stars.

And they made it a perfect night with a heat-15 4-2 for Lewis Bridger and Simon Gustafsson to secure the bonus point.

Eagles won 49-41 – their biggest lead of the night.

They trailed 19-11 but five heat advantages in the next six races put them six points up.

They secured the win when skipper Cameron Woodward passed Kevin Wolbert for third place on the final lap to force a 3-3 in heat 14.

Bridger then led the nominated race from the start while Gustafsson crucially kept Lynn's high-scoring reserve David Howe stranded at the back.

Eagles: Bridger 11+2 (5), Gustafsson 9+1 (4), Watt 9 (4), Gizatullin 7+1 (4), Dryml 6+1 (4), Woodward 4+1 (4), Lahti 3+1 (4).

King’s Lynn: Howe 12+1 (6), Iversen 11 (5), Nermark 7+2 (4), Wolbert 4 (4), Janowski 4 (4), Korneliusson 3+1 (4), Sitera 0 (3),
