Brighton & Hove Albion: It's time to say Goodbye!
Posted on 1:03am Thursday 28th April 2011
So the curtain is about to fall on the theatre of trees. Oh what fun we’ve had over the last twelve years.

Brighton & Hove Albion: Any Clap In Southampton?
Posted on 7:23pm Tuesday 19th April 2011
Sensational, outstanding, brilliant,a fantastic group of players, we will win this league. Those are the comments Nigel Adkins has made about Southampton so far this season. This is the Southampton who are currently just 16 points behind the Albion in League 1, not forgetting of course their game in hand.

Brighton And Loathed Albion
Posted on 10:58pm Tuesday 29th March 2011
When I was a younger man, well a boy really in the late 80’s , I recall the Albion once won three games in row.

Cheers , but no old sko(o)l for me!

On Saturday I am going to Watford via Littlehampton and Horsham. Or I could get a bus to Crawley, but my mother tells me I haven’t had all my inoculations! Not really of course. Crawley is lovely and the bus goes to Three Bridges actually.

We're top of the league and we're having a laugh.

This is the Albion in all their pomp, swagger and affluence. Which, whether you like it or not, pretty much personifies the twin towns in this day and age.

Goals, goals and more goals

Who would have thought it. Ten games into the season and Borough games are now averaging 4.5 goals a match!

Plenty in reserve
Posted on 9:30am Friday 17th September 2010
So the alarm rang out at 5am and the great journey to the far flung North West lay ahead. Well it did for some diehards but I opted for the easier journey to the outskirts of Uckfield. The temptation of a 16 hour round trip to Barrow lingered very briefly, but having done the jaunt twice in recent times, I took the coward's way out and decided that 20 miles was far more acceptable than 335!

A day to remember
Posted on 9:41pm Thursday 9th September 2010
So, Saturday 4th September was Non League day and boy did we get some coverage! With 2 red cards, a heroic display from a Boro God and some bloke called Terry at the Lane, the Gospel according to Garry and Nick filtered on to the national radio airwaves!

Puffing Dragons and injured bird
Posted on 6:39pm Monday 23rd August 2010
Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there was a BIG football club .... fire breathing dragons sent throngs of burning flames at all that crossed their path and many a foe shuddered at the mere thought of being visited by such a monster!

Hayes throw in the towel
Posted on 4:59pm Thursday 19th August 2010
After a self imposed exile (the tail end of last season was too depressing to blog about) I am back to dip my toes tentatively in the waters of Blogworld again. With the summer behind us and that debacle of a football tournament, I know I was not alone in the anticipation of the new campaign. Some old friends hung up their red shirts, and new ones have taken them off the hangers to wear the Boro Martello for the first time. A warm welcome goes to all the summer signings.
