One loss from relegation
We have seven games to play, 21 points to play for. We are 21 points behind 5th bottom so on Saturday, when we travel to Forest Green, relegation could be confirmed, something if we're honest we've known for a while.

What a difference a week makes
What an eventful week. Makes a change from me moaning about very little happening recently, I even had time to write a blog about something else.

Communities ... a thing of the past?
With everything going on in the world of football at the moment, I thought I'd take the spotlight away from the first team this week (as if there isn't enough on it already what with court cases, winding up or.... I'll stop).

Going down the Pan
Sadly, this blog's title is as true as ever. We've heard nothing new on the investment front, seem days away from administration and we lost a derby, 5-1. Not much to cheer about right now for Lewes fans.

What a load of rubbish
If I was hoping for a sudden upsurge in activity after my blog last week, I've been sadly disappointed!

Nothing's happening
You might have noticed the increasing gaps between each blog, well that’s because right now there is very little going on!

Still nothing in 2009
We're almost at the end of January and we've still nothing to show for 2009. No points, no league goals, still second bottom and knocked out of the Trophy. Only good thing seems to be Mr. King being charitable and keeping at least one side bad enough to be below us!

This league gets no easier
2009 certainly hasn't done Lewes any favours yet! Last Saturday's Trophy game against Havant fell victim to the frost along with all games in Sussex ensuring I lost £60 of refereeing! Not the greatest start to the first weekend off 2009.

Nil pwa
And the festive season is over. Nil pwa, nil goals. We managed to take part in 4 of the 5 scheduled games, scoring 0 goals and conceding a few on the way! Doubt surrounded the Boro home game and the Boro (Stevenage this time though) away game, both for frozen pitches. Both survived the cold and both saw us lose!

Santa forgets where the Dripping Pan is
Last season's festive games brought us 3 Drury specials, 2 Booth classics and a Wormull goal to add. We drew 2-2 with Eastbourne (when 2-0 up with not long to go!) and stuffed FA Cup surprise package Havant 4-0.

Nothing new to report
Normally I'm not one to have little to say but this is one of those times.

Two wins on the field but gloom off it
Sometimes I just wish following Lewes FC was not so eventful.

No nearer
One week after my last blog, we are no nearer to solving the insecurity at the club.

???????????
I couldn't think of a more appropriate title for this week’s blog. Things at Lewes FC are certainly never boring, and this week has done nothing to dispel that belief. A statement from the board last week made fans realise exactly the situation our club is in and it's certainly worse than we thought.

Lewes FC blog: One we'll remember for a long time
This week will be one Rooks fans remember for a long time, and not for the right reasons. Progress in one cup, but dumped out of another.

I blame myself
I am a jinx! I called for the good form to continue last week and look what happened! It was a shockingly poor display against Bognor in a game we could (should?) have won with ease. Bognor are struggling in the Blue Square south and although we made them look good, they passed the ball well and battled hard – exactly what they need to stay up.
