Feliciano Lopez has retained his crown in the last ever men's event at Eastbourne.
The Spanish third seed defeated French top seed Richard Gasquet 6-3, 6-7, 7-5 in a gripping final of the Aegon International spanning two hours and 13 minutes.
It was the tenth match in 13 days for the battle-hardened Lopez, runner-up at Queen's last week.
