Chris Eubank Junior came through his last fight before his clash with Billy Joe Saunders with no alarms tonight.
The Brighton middleweight blasted away Omar Siala inside two rounds for an 18th win as a professional.
Victory in Liverpool sets him up for his all-British showdown with British, European and Commonwealth champion Saunders on November 29.
There had been fears the fight was too much of a risk so close to the clash with any injury putting the big showdown in jeopardy.
Siala was a late change of opponent after German Florian Wildenhof was originally scheduled and he was no match for Eubank Jr’s power.
Eubank Jr bossed the first round and unloaded with a flurry of big shots in the second including a massive right uppercut and the referee stepped in after 1 minute 50 seconds to stop further punishment for the German.
