Chris Eubank Junior will challenge champion Dmitry Chudinov for his interim WBA world middleweight title on February 28.
Brighton fighter Eubank Jr suffered the first defeat of his career in November when he dropped a split decision over 12 rounds to British, European and Commonwealth champion Billy Joe Saunders at the ExCel London.
Despite losing, the fight proved the 25-year-old was worthy of mixing it at top-class level and he he gets another chance to demonstrate his potential against the Russian No.1 as chief support at the O2 on the Frank Warren show which is headlined by undefeated heavyweight destroyer Tyson Fury’s clash with big-hitting Christian Hammer.
Eubank Jr, son of former two-weight world champion Chris Eubank senior, boasts a record of 18-1 while Chudinov has 14 wins, no losses and two draws on his card.
