Lee Emanuel won a silver medal at the European Indoor Athletics Championships this evening.
Emanuel, from Hastings, finished second in the 3,000m behind Ali Kaya, from Turkey who led from the start in Prague.
The Sussex runner set a personal best 7min.44.48sec and ran in second place on his own for most of the race.
Emanuel said: "I was a little disappointed, I came here to win. I gave it everything but with 600m to go I didn't think I was going to make it. But I finally believe that I belong."
