Peacehaven have been relegated from Ryman premier.
Needing a victory to stand any chance of staying up, Tony Coade’s side threw away a two-goal half-time lead to lose 4-2 at home to Hampton and Richmond.
But while Peacehaven are heading back to the south division after just one season at this level, Lewes are celebrating staying up.
They won 2-0 at already-relegated Bury Town to ensure their survival, although the result was irrelevant as Peacehaven lost.
A full non-league round-up will follow later.
