Trevor Breen has won the Derby at Hickstead for a second successive year – but this time on a different horse.

Twelve months after triumphing on one-eyed wonder Adventure De Kannan, the Irishman came out on top again in the most famous competition in the world of showjumping, the Equestrian.com Derby.

This time Breen saddled Loughnatousa WB, a horse that won in 2012 with Paul Beecher.

The combination produced the only clear of the showpiece event in front of a crowd of about 15,000 at the Sussex venue.

It was also only the 57th clear round in the 55 years this competition has taken place.
