Darren Budd is set to sign for his new local club Horsham after an amicable parting with promoted Bognor.

The former Albion youth teamer cannot commit to the demands of playing National League south football.

He reached agreement with Hornets boss Dom di Paola last night.

Budd lives in Lancing, where Horsham will play on a groundshare arrangement next term.

He said: “I can’t fully commit to Bognor and it’s not fair on them because they need everyone fully committed.

“I would also want to put my all in and give 100%.

“There no bad feeling there. They understand the situation.”

Rocks have signed Worthing centre-back Corey Heath.

The 21-year-old was a youth-teamer at Bognor and helped Rebels win promotion from Ryman South last year.
