Caroline Wozniacki wasted little time booking her place in the semi-finals at the AEGON International as she dispatched Russian qualifier Ekaterina Makarova in less than an hour.
The 18-year-old Dane confirmed her position as favourite to land the title as she cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 victory on centre court.
The world No. 8, who is the highest surviving seed at Eastbourne, will now play the winner of the clash between Vera Dushevina and Aleksandr Wozniak.
