They may have had to wake up early to hear if they had received nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards, but it was worth it for those who did.
Kristin Chenoweth and Neil Patrick Harris made the announcements from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in Hollywood, California.
Not surprisingly, the duo received nominations of their own for Outstanding Supporting Actor/Actress in a comedy series - Kristin snagged one for her role as Olive in Pushing Daisies, while Neil plays Barney in How I Met Your Mother. "I'm in shock, I'm completely happy," she said.
Neil, who was also nominated last year, added: "It's the second, two in a row, so it's great."
Ugly Betty's America Ferrera, who received an Outstanding Comedy Actress nod for playing Betty Suarez, heard the news at home.
"I got up and watched the announcements on TV. I heard it from Kristin Chenoweth's mouth," she told Variety.
And Kyra Sedgwick, who's married to Kevin Bacon, won a nomination for Outstanding Drama Actress, for starring in The Closer.
"I love that all the women in my category are past 30," she said.
The 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on September 21 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
