Somewhere In The Universe There Must Be Something Better Than Man Loves New Music, Ocean Rooms, Brighton, Apr 18

Anarchic electro-indie club Somewhere In The Universe has decided to let live bands in on the act, launching this week with New York duo Heartsrevolution.

"The minute we found their limited edition glow-in-the-dark vinyl release with Crystal Castles we thought we might be onto something," explains organiser Henron, who has also found a new home for his weekly juggernaut at the refurbished Ocean Rooms.

The band use a refurbished ice cream truck as their kitsch store, mode of transport and record label headquarters, and North Laine ice cream store Lick will be on hand throughout the show to keep discerning indie kids cool and ensure the pair feel at home.

The usual choice selection of the latest tracks from the likes of Simian Mobile Disco and CSS follows the gig from 10pm.

From the village of Horsted Keynes, this walk heads eastwards to encircle the nearby settlement of Danehill, crossing and recrossing two well-wooded valleys before returning along part of the Sussex Border Path, a longdistance walking route which sticks fairly closely to the boundary between East and West Sussex.
