The usual classic vinyl can make any soul and funk night a likely success, but house band Superfunkt have allowed Funkulicious to up the ante.

Featuring two belting vocalists and a rich horn section, the eight-piece will be putting a live twist on all the 1970s disco hits you'd expect at the launch of this tongue-in-cheek boogie at the new Brighton Coalition on alternate Thursdays.

There is a flares and afro dresscode for anyone needing encouragement to impersonate a missing member of The Jackson Five on the night.

From the village of Horsted Keynes, this walk heads eastwards to encircle the nearby settlement of Danehill, crossing and recrossing two well-wooded valleys before returning along part of the Sussex Border Path, a longdistance walking route which sticks fairly closely to the boundary between East and West Sussex.
