Flirty PowerPoint projection comedy, American piano music, Sufi songs and Rumi poems all form the eclectic mix of performances and events scheduled for this central Brighton venue.

After gaining momentum with its successful Fringe programmes in recent years, The Friends' Meeting House embraces a range of comedy, theatre, classical, workshops and talks.

Highlights this year include the family-friendly Zoo Songs, incorporating music and sounds about animals and plants for children of all ages.

Icing On The Cake promises a feast of music, chocolate, comedy and cooking with complimentary cake and cuppa, and new play Let Justice Be Done celebrates the bicentenary of the abolition of slavery.
