The creators of the "exciting, innovative"

The Elevator Man (Brighton Fringe 2006/7), 5d Theatre return with new one-hour play Spreading Her Thinly.

A wry look at modern womanhood, this two-hander, written by Tracy Forsythe, is set at the battlefield of the school gate. Who is the best kind of mother? Is it Nuala who stays at home to look after her two children but craves outside fulfilment? Or could it be Jenny, who works in a high powered job providing for her family yet feels guilty about everything?

And who exactly is the enemy? The dismissive head teacher? The condescending ballet mistress? The client from hell? Or themselves?

Will they ever get the balance right and the support they desperately need? And will they ever be good enough?

  • Starts 4pm, tickets cost £8/£6.
