South Coast Family History Fair, Pavilion Theatre, Worthing, April 20
 |
| Eddie Mitchell |
Aimed at both those starting out to investigate their geneaology and those who already have volumes of their family tree, the South Coast Family History Fair is a one-stop shop for information about tracing your past.
Family history has always been a popular pursuit but has recently become even more topical with the BBC's Who Do You Think You Are series, which saw the likes of David Baddiel, Stephen Fry, Jeremy Irons and Nigella Lawson try to trace their ancestors.
As well as offering information from South Coast-based family history groups, the fair features stalls from The Society Of Geneaologists, record offices and trade stalls selling postcards, books, computer software, maps and directories.
Starts 10am to 5pm, tickets £2, children free. Call 01344 451479.
