Denmark's Alphabeat are heading up a four-strong line-up of
music at the forefront of what is being billed as Wonky Pop.
The new genre bases itself outside the corporate pop
machine but takes the sort of infectious pop influences that
prevent it from being lumped in with general indie sounds.
Alphabeat are following up the top ten success of their single
Fascination with new release 10,000 Nights next month.
Joining them for this tour are singer and multi-instrumentalist
Leon Jean Marie and one-man future hit factory Frankmusic.
Providing the glue between the acts will be the Popjustice
DJs, who will be spinning a few more examples of Wonky Pop.
Starts 7pm, SOLD OUT. Call Rounder Records, in Brighton Square, on 01273 325440 or Resident, in Kensington Gardens, on 01273 606312.
