Billed as "Aristophanes for the X Factor generation",
this is not your average children's show.
Based on ancient Greek comedy, it is packed with
adult-friendly satire and knowing pop culture references, not to mention a trombone-playing robin and a dodo
in negotiations with Gordon Brown.
The show was written by Oxford University graduate Stephen Sharkey and uses a combination of high-energy music and theatre to tell the story of some birds, who, furious at humans for destroying their habitat, decide
to wreak their revenge through some strategic pooing.
